Alpha League will be available from a print on demand printer to soothe those of us that cant wait for distribution, I will update as soon as that happens! The awesomeness for ALPHA LEAGUE to be available on amazon.com is taking longer than expected, I will be sure to update the moment that I know more. These things take time to cycle through, and patience is just one valuable lesson in getting a book published. But if we can’t have it all right now, the least I can do is give you teaser images of some of our very special heroes!

COMIC CON SAN DIEGO 2010, was awesome, i got some great reviews, contacts, and held a panel in ballroom 30 on how to draw for kids! It was really nerve wracking at first but once it got under way it was awesome!

Meanwhile, published by our friends at EIGOmanga, ALPHA LEAGUE, the big adventure, big words alphabet book Written by Joseph Butts and illustrated by Myself will be available on AMAZON.COM by Friday August 6th! and more distribution to come! I will definitely keep everyone updated!!!

Its been a long time in coming, but its finally happened and I’m feeling good.

This blog on the site is going to be dedicated mostly to my comics and illustration, but I will also be exploring my process with it and showing the inner depths of my sketchbooks. Also, expect some convention posts this summer, as I am going to be attending Wizard World Chicago (as an artist in Artist’s Alley) and as a gawker/voyeur at San Diego Comic Con. This will be my first summer making the rounds to conventions to sell actual comics, so wish me luck and hopefully buy a mini!

As for webcomics, FOOD-FARM35 will be starting soon as a weekly-updated webcomic. Look for that to launch in the next few weeks since there will be a seperate site for that. It’s a sci-fi tale set in a world that has been visited by some devastating calamity which has affected it’s inhabitants. As we follow a father and son parting ways in this changed landscape, we begin to learn more about their world and their story.
